FIRST WORKSHOP ON ELECTROCHEMISTRY DEVICES: (BIO)SENSORS - Porto
October 13-14, 2016
Flyer & Programme
The importance of electrochemical devices has largely increased in the last years.
The First Workshop on Electrochemistry devices: (bio)sensors took place on the 13th and 14th of October 2016 in the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP, Porto, Portugal) and was organized by GRAQ. The workshop included scientific and technical presentations from several different perspectives, covering areas such as electrochemical (bio)sensors, electrocatalysis and applied electroanalysis, that were presented by well-known experts in these fields. The workshop also included practical sessions in which the participants prepared and applied different (bio)sensors. Besides this, flash and poster presentations were also included for participants who were interested in presenting their research in the electrochemical field.
About 50 participants joined to discuss current electrochemical challenges, leading to a fruitful and scientifically interesting meeting during two long and labour-intensive days.
